Welcome to the Exeter University Polo Club website. We hope everything you needed to know about Exeter University Polo is contained within these few pages, otherwise we are more than happy to listen to your comments and suggestions.

The site contains information on events and news of the goings on in the club, as well as membership details and how to get in contact with the club.

The Exeter University Polo Club was founded in 1998 and was originally part of a feasibility study conducted by a student Engineer. With the help of certain 'founding fathers' and their close friends, the club proved to be a success in its premiere year much to the delight of the Engineer who received a reasonably high grade for his efforts. The club has acquired over the year a strong relationship with West Somerset Polo Club whose help has been another key reason why the club exists, and to whom the club would like to give their thanks. The grounds of West Somerset Polo Club is owned by the Carnarvon Arms Hotel, situated deep in the scenic backdrop of Dartmoor, and Chukkas are held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The Exeter University Polo club plays Chukkas on Saturdays (11.00am) and Sundays (02.00pm). Lessons and stick'n'ball are held on Wednesdays in Culmstock (Taunton) starting at 04.00pm and lasting approximately an hour.
